Llàgrimes de tardor
This elegant and delicate red wine is elaborated with our traditional and old vines of Carignan, one of the most singular Mediterranean red grapes. Its production is very limited.
It shows a medium deep and brilliant cherry colour. Its aroma is dominated by berry fruits aromas and plenty of hints of citrus fruits, Mediterranean herbs and spices. On the palate it is delicate, fluid and fresh.
Food pairing and suggestions
Food pairing and suggestions: due to its freshness, it pairs well with greasy or gelatinous foods. The bull or old cow’s meat, the traditional cap i pota that is cooked in Catalonia (similar to the callos, but with beef head and tripe), grilled black sausages or duck magret with berries sauce are some examples. Other options for this carignan red may be a creamy vegetable rice or a potato parmentier with mushrooms. You can also keep it for 5 years following the bottling date. Serve it cool (14°C).
